A monthly gathering where women can come home to themselves. So excited you are here!
We are so often taught to inhabit our bodies THROUGH control, improvement, discipline, and performance.
This is an evening to experience your body differently.
Spend a slow evening with a small circle of women, reconnecting with your body, listening inward, and remembering the woman beneath the performance.
This space is intimate and will be limited to 16 women.
Come as you are. Bring a friend who needs a slow evening of connection.
A guided experience with room to
w a n d e r.
We will move between breath, meditation, intuitive movement, reflection, and connection, following an intentional arc while leaving space for whatever wants to emerge
-
Begin with breathwork and meditation to slow down, arrive in your body, and connect with an intention for the evening.
-
Move without choreography, expectation, or performance. Let your body lead through non-linear movement and intuitive exploration.
-
Through a surprise ceremony and shared presence, experience connection with the women around you without needing to perform, explain, or fix.
-
Use journaling to listen inward, make meaning of what surfaced, and give language to what your body already knows.
-
Close in community through optional sharing: a space to be witnessed, heard, and held without advice or judgment.

Logan Schauer
Coach Logan has spent the last decade+ exploring what it means to truly inhabit a body... not just as something to strengthen, shape, or improve, but as something to listen to.
The Ancestral Body grew from that curiosity: a desire to create spaces where women can step outside of performance, slow down, move, feel, connect, and remember something they may have forgotten.

Not at all. Everything is guided, and there is no right way to participate. You don't need to be flexible, spiritual, experienced with movement, or particularly "good" at any of it. Come exactly as you are.
-
Bring an eye mask, a yoga mat, journal and pen, water, and anything else that helps you feel comfortable—blanket, cozy layers, or a grounding object. The space also provides blankets, bolsters and blocks.
-
No. This is an invitation, not a performance. You are always welcome to modify a practice, sit something out, or pass when it comes time to share. Your boundaries are part of the practice.
-
Each gathering follows an intentional arc through breathwork, guided meditation, intuitive movement, reflection, journaling, community sharing, and surprise practices to help you further connect to yourself and others.
The exact experience will shift with each theme, leaving room for both guidance and whatever naturally emerges.

No. The Ancestral Body is an embodiment and community experience, not therapy or a substitute for mental health care.
It is a space for slowing down, connecting with yourself and others, and exploring your relationship with your body through guided practices and reflection.
